Adam C. Tosh, CFA Named As New Chief Investment Officer for $16 Billion Pension Fund
Kentucky Retirement Systems announced today that Adam C. Tosh, CFA is joining the $16 billion public pension plan as Chief Investment Officer effective February 1, 2007.
"Adam's strong financial background and experience with public retirement systems makes him a perfect fit for this position," said KRS Executive Director William P. Hanes, Esq. "I join the Board of Trustees in welcoming him to Kentucky Retirement Systems."
Adam worked for the Pennsylvania State Treasury before joining the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System in 1996. He received his degree in Economics, Politics, and Government from Ohio Wesleyan University and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2002.
Kentucky Retirement Systems is responsible for the investment of funds and administration of benefits for over 300,000 state and local government employees in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. These employees include state employees, state police officers, city and county employees, as well as nonteaching staff of local school boards and regional universities.
