Do You Know Your Employer Service Representative?

The Field Services Division of Kentucky Retirement Systems has reorganized effective January 1, 2006. In an effort to more efficiently provide support and services to our members and employers, the division will be comprised of two branches, a conference team and field representatives, with each branch having specialized duties.

The conference team will be responsible for conducting One-On-One Conferences, which are conducted monthly throughout the Commonwealth. Individual retirement counseling is provided to members at these conferences. This team may also be available to conduct individual retirement counseling on site at an agency upon request.

Field Representatives are assigned to each county to provide information and services to the agencies within that county. Field representatives are available to answer any questions a reporting official may have regarding the policies and procedures of Kentucky Retirement Systems. Please note that several regions have been assigned a new representative. The chart below illustrates the representatives and regions effective January 1, 2006.

Field Representatives will also be responsible for retirement education for both members and employers. One of the primary goals of this division will be to promote and develop retirement education for your employees by coordinating with your agency. Many of you completed retirement education surveys indicating your preferences with regard to educational services available through KRS. This team will be responsible for implementing programs based on those responses.
