  • Kentucky Public Employees' Deferred Compensation Authority
    Kentucky Public Employees' Deferred Compensation Authority provides two deferred compensation plans for employees of state agencies, schools and universities, and participating local governments.
  • Kentucky Teachers Retirement System (KTRS)
    KTRS legally known as "Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Kentucky" became operational on July 1, 1940. Members may combine service credit in KTRS and other public retirement systems in Kentucky to qualify for retirement benefits. Certified employees of local boards of education and professional staff at regional state universities participate in KTRS.
  • Social Security Administration (SSA)
    The Social Security Administration's Web site provides information about Retirement, Survivors and Disability Insurance Benefits, and Supplemental Security Income. The site also provides wage reporting information for employers.
  • Internal Revenue Service
    This site provides comprehensive information about the Internal Revenue Service and provides access to many federal forms and publications.
  • The Department for Employee Insurance
    The Department for Employee Insurance was established on September 16, 2000 and administers the Commonwealth's group health insurance program. The retirement systems provide health insurance benefits for retirees and beneficiaries not eligible for Medicare through the Commonwealth group insurance program.
  • Legislative Research Commission
    The Legislative Research Commission was established in 1948 as a fact-finding and service body for the Legislature. Services LRC provides include: committee staffing, bill drafting, oversight of the state budget and educational reform, production of educational materials, maintenance of a reference library and Internet site, and the preparation and printing of research reports, informational bulletins and a legislative newspaper. An updated listing of legislation proposed during the session is maintained on this web site.
